How it works

That’s really all there is to it. No profiles to scroll, nothing to swipe. You pick a plan, and the people come with it.
Not a social network
No feed. No followers. No swiping.
Jenggo is a plan with a time, a place and people who said yes. When it’s over, you’ve actually met them. That’s the whole idea.
- First names and a real face. It’s how people recognize each other at the door, and it’s all anyone sees.
- The exact address goes to the people who join. Everyone else sees the neighborhood.
- One chat per plan. It opens when you join, and it stays with the group afterwards.
- Full is full. A group of eight is eight. You see who’s in before you go.

We tell you when someone joins, remind everyone the day before, and keep the chat in one place. If plans change, you edit once and everyone hears about it.

Is it free?
Yes, joining and hosting cost nothing. Some plans have a cost of their own, like a sauna fee or a court booking, and the host tells you up front.
Do I need to know anyone?
Not at all. Most people come on their own. The group chat opens the moment you join, so you can say hi before you meet, and you’ll see who’s in before you go.
Who will I meet?
People from your city who picked the same thing you did. Groups are 4 to 12, always in person. Some plans are marked 18+.
How is this different from Meetup or Facebook events?
Small, fixed groups instead of open events. Once eight have joined, it’s eight. There’s no feed and nothing to follow. The plan is the whole app.
What do people see about me?
Your first name, your photo and the things you’re into. No surnames, no bio, no messages outside the groups you’re in. You can leave any group whenever you like.
Where does it work?
Helsinki, to start with. More cities as people ask, and the app speaks Finnish, English and Swedish.
